The Idea of the Game

The South Windsor treasure hunt is just an idea that i came up with when i heard about the treasure hidden in the ocean to advertise for Pirates of the Caribbean 3. I thought that it would be fun to follow clues to find some treasure, so i decided to organize a treasure hunt here in South Windsor. That way people can have fun finding the treasure while not having to buy a submarine to find it or risk getting eaten by sperm whales or something.

The idea behind the game is that everyone who wants to play will pay five dollars or so (I'm not totally sure yet). I will take all of the money, put it in a treasure chest (or coffee can, depending on if they sell treasure chests anywhere around here), and hide it (probably bury, but not definitely) somewhere in South Windsor.

Once the game starts, everyone who paid the five dollars will be given the first clue. If you figure out the clue, it will lead you to the next clue. There will be a long string of clues, getting increasingly difficult farther into the treasure hunt. Everyone will be given the same clues, so it is fair. Clues will be hidden in many places, but you will only find them and know what to do with them if you are looking, so you won't find a clue on accident. You will never have to leave the town at any point in the game. Whoever finds the treasure chest first will get to keep all of the money that is inside it.

If you're interested in playing, leave a comment. Also, give me any ideas that you have for the game. It's still in the planning phases so I'm not sure about every aspect. I'm in a rush to get it finished, because I want it to start on the last day of school/first day of summer. And spread the word to all of your friends, the game will be open to anyone who goes to South Windsor High School.

haha that just reminded me of "you know the prefect's bathroom on the fifth floor? its not a bad place to take a bath..." :-P

ps idk if i want to do the treasure hunt yet, i might want to help instead, if you have that option... plus living in the same house i would probably make you nuts asking why i cant find the next clue every day lol

I'd probably do it. There's a problem though. I might be working a 9-5 job every day leaving me with not much time to do anything.
